I'm sorry to say... The SKAspot Hall of Fame and SKAspot BOTM is no more...

I'm afraid I haven't done a real good job promoting the monthly contest and it seems that the same people are nominating the same bands every month. I'd like to focus my energy on what really matters to SKAspot users so I'm doing away with the Hall of Fame and will re-focus my energy on improving the overall portal. I hope to make it more comprehensive and integrated with SKA Summit, SKApedia, SKAToob, and the rest of the SKAspot Family. I know many will be disappointed while others won't… Continue

SKA Venues Map Added to SKA Summit - Please Contribute!

You may have noticed a new menu item under events on the SKA Summit website. Yes... we now have a map of SKA Venues. I added this map in hopes that we could help bands find places to play ska and plan tours as well as for fans to find ska shows in whatever part of the world they're located. The success of this map, however, depends entirely on you. We need you to add venues from your scene. It begins now

And so it begins. SKAM made it into the excellent Ska Summit. We have plans up the skazoo for this Automn...gigwise, studio, songwriting, rehearsals, logo and professional pics etc., BUT need all you guys' help!
What are good ways of promoting the band, both online and offline?
