so im curious to know what others absolute favorite ska album is.

Really? 'Peculiar', out of all the Slackers albums? I'd go with either 'Redlight' or 'Wasted Days'.
My favorite album has remained the same for a long, long time: The Siren Six!'s "The Voice with a Built-In Promise". Fantastic, both musically and lyrically. It's too bad more third wave acts didn't at least try to reach the levels these guys did.
Runners-up: The Pietasters' "All Day", The Toasters' "Dub 56", The English Beat's "I Just Can't Stop It", The Stubborn All-Stars' "Back with a New Batch", The BossToneS' "Question the Answers" and MU330's "Press".
Albums that are partially ska by bands that were accepted in the ska scene back in the day: The Adjusters' "Before the Revolution", Fishbone's "Truth and Soul" and the Cherry Poppin' Daddies' "Kids on the Street".

That is a good album by the Skoidats.....but for me I would have to say the album "Too Good to be True" by "Saint Petersburg Ska-Jazz Review." Damn good album, if you ever get the chance listen to it.

I've been listening to nothing but it for like 5 days now and I'm not sick of it yet...I recommend you buy it if you don't have it yet...best ska CD I've listened to in a long time...

I'd of course put my former band's CDs at the top of the list but I'll be "PC" about it.
Bob Marley and The Wailing Wailers: One Love at Studio One- If any album had an ifluence on me and the direction I'd take, it was this one.
Honorable mention:
See Spot- The Robbery, their newest and I think best release they've put out.
Chris Murray Combo- Why So Rude (See See Spot above).
The Pepper Pots- Shake It All I can say is "WOW!" Great harmonizing vocals on this one! (And not hard on the eyes either!)
