I've yet to see 'The Up Beat', but with a soundtrack like that, there's no way I could miss it, regardless of critical consensus.

the "Up Beat" is aimed more toward a Utah audience. I liked it.

Also i dont know if yourl be able to find it but the bbc did a 3 part documentary on jamaican music a few years ago, the 1st part being ska. i got it on a boot leg dvd from some were or other. well worth getting a hold of if you can

Altho it says this is in production its actualy finished and had a screening and all. just waiting for it to come out now on dvd.
i saw duke vin play out before and the man has TUNES!!
