A five piece ska-punk band from Ohio is May's SKAspot Band of the Month and is very deserving of the recognition. Since November 2007, this band, which has endured many incarnations, is known as Atomic Potato. As early as 2004, the seeds were planted for this explosion of
ska-core goodness as "The Inner Darkness" (the earliest incarnation) formed. Three of the five members would later go on on to form Atomic Potato, picking up two more from various side projects. Atomic Potato has since gone through 4 drummers and with it's 5th, is celebrating the release of their new album, "Life is Grand". We, the folks at SKAspot would like to help them celbrate by inducting them into the SKAspot Hall of Fame and so you have it, voted number one in May... Atomic Potato!
